This oscilloscope was a very popular scope, built from 1939 until 1949. It was also extensively used in the military.
The tube lineup of the scope is CRT HR1/60/0.5; EF12: S1/0,2illA.
The "N" type is for connecting to power outlet, type "B" is for battery supply, requiring a vibrator to generate AC voltage(s).
Apparently this scope is different to the other one in the collection. Most parts are different, even the chassis shows differences. Most likely, this type of scope was built in various locations and availability of parts was limited. Not surprising as a lot of these scopes were built during war time.
