Manufacturer: GRUNDIG (Germany)
Model: W3 Type 6013, S#1387
Vintage: 1958
Purpose: Wideband Oscilloscope, Portable Service Unit
Condition: Working
Comments:
The scope appears to be in original condition.
I have to say that the model designations by Grundig are a little confusing to me. There were the "G" scope and the "W" scopes. I think the "W" scopes were a cooperation between Grundig and Hartmann&Braun ("HB"), while the "G" scopes were Grundig only. Aside from that there are numbers with each letter plus another number, here "6013". If anyone can enlighten me what exactly these numbers mean, I would appreciate it. It would probably also help in determining their age.
