Manufacturer: JACKSON (USA)
Model: CRO-2, S#RR6922
Vintage: 1955
Purpose: Wideband Oscilloscope
Condition: Working
Comments:
The CRO-2 must have been a successful product by Jackson. It was introduced not long after the CRO-1 and it took about ten years to come out with the CRO-3.
There were different versions of the CRO-2. Earlier versions, like this one, have the CRO-1 look, while later ones are closer to the CRO-3.
This particular unit is very similar to the CRO-3. Especially the connector for the probe is the same among this later CRO-2 and CRO-3s. This CRO-2 came with in its original box with light shield, probes and documentation. The probes are ...
- DEM-P Demodulation probe
- LC10-IP Low Capacity probe 10:1 (up to 1000V)
- LC2-IP Low Capacity probe 2:1
The description of the probes even mention their use with CRO-3 scope.
If at all, it was used very little. The date on the documentation is 12/18/1955. May be someone received a Christmas present and the return policies were different back then.
