The RCA 151, also known as TMV-175A, was one of the first oscilloscopes RCA made. Shortly before General Radio sold most oft their intellectual properties (patents) to RCA. GenRad did not see a future for oscilloscopes as accurate measurement tools. RCA did not make much of an effort to develop oscilloscopes further. So, quickly it was overtaken by other companies like DuMont, Triumph, Simpson and then Tektronix came...
