Manufacturer: RCA (USA)
Model: 155-C, S#11145
Vintage: 1943
Purpose: General Purpose
Condition: Unknown
Comments:
Outside condition is not good, inside it is very good. It was made during WWII but not for military use. The steel used is probably low quality. The tubes and parts are normal for that period.
The 155-C features a couple of changes to the 155-A and 155-B. For example there are connectors for direct access to the deflection plates. Also the tube lineup is different. The 884 thyratron is replaced with a 6C8G. Also the amplifier tubes changed.
This one has the rare front scale with the small tab to rotate for alignment.
