Manufacturer: SIEMENS (SWITZERLAND)
Model: KE1071, S#2104277
Vintage: 1944
Purpose: General Purpose
Condition: Working
Comments:
This oscilloscope was manufactured during WW2 by SIEMENS Switzerland. The tube lineup is...
- CRT DB7-2
- EF12
- EF14
- 4690
Some models had 2x EZ12 as rectifiers. This particular model had Selenium rectifiers instead. They are probably not original and were part of an overhaul at some point. There are also other newer parts (as obvious in the pictures). It is still working but the CRT's blue trace is very faint.
This scope was used as a prop in the episode "Heisenberg vs. Oppenheimer" as part of the National Geographic series "American Genius".
