Manufacturer:    SUPREME (USA)
Model:                    531, S#161
Vintage:                 1934
Purpose:                Monitor Scope
Condition:            Unknown

Comments:
This scope is in amazing condition. Based on the date code of the HV capacitor, it was made in 1934. It does not contain any amplifiers or a sweep circuit. It could be considered a monitor scope, exclusively for X-Y observations.
The CRT is a 2AP1, the rectifier tube either an 80 or 81.
The wooden case is in nice condition.
It is very rare that such simple scopes from the 30s survived. These simple scopes were quickly overtaken by "newer" scopes with the capabilities we typically associate with a "normal" scope.
