Manufacturer: WATERMAN (USA)
Model: S-14-B Wideband PocketScope
Vintage: 1955
Purpose: General Purpose
Condition: Unknown
Comments:
This scope was graciously donated by Gary Zednik, THANK YOU!
On other models of pocketscopes, the schematic with serial number is glued to one side of the side panels. It seems Waterman stopped this at some point or it the sheet got lost. Fortunately, the manual survived with the unit.
It appears the scope is in its original condition except of the two BNC connectors for signal input. It shows that the scope was used many years after 1955, when better probes were available.
Waterman had a solid design with their "PocketScopes", which was successful over more than a decade and was copied by other manufacturers.
